Live Local Coverage
Hometown Stations is the only local news source in West Central Ohio. We take pride in the communities from around the region. Throughout the years we shine a light on these amazing places with live, on location broadcasts. Whether it is a weeklong focus on our local county fairs in Allen, Auglaize, or Putnam Counties, or hitting the road with the Our Town Segment. We pack up our news set and hit the road and show our viewers the great things that this region has to offer.
Supporting Our Community
Hometown Stations cares about our community. For 9 years we have held a Truckload of Toys event in conjunction with the Salvation Army. We hold a live event on location and invite viewers to come donate new, unused toys to the Toys for Tots campaign. Over the years, this event has become one of the largest sources of toy and cash donations for the Salvation Army toy drive. We have been able to raise over $10,000 and collected more than 10,000 toys, stocking stuffers, books, bikes, and other miscellaneous items to be given as gifts to the children of our communities and brighten their holidays.
